Description

This area is located in the province of Aragon in Spain and includes mostly plains (steppe zones). In the area there are the following habitats: steppe and temporary brackish water lagoons.

Ornithological importance

This area is very important for steppe birds with emphasis on the Dupont's Lark (Chersophilus duponti), the Black-bellied Sandgrouse (Pterocles orientalis), the Pin-tailed Sandgrouse (Pterocles alchata) and Calandra Lark (Melanocorypha calandra).
