Description

This area is located off the north coast of Fuerteventura Island of Spain and includes a small volcanic island.
In the area there are the following habitats: volcanic island, lava flows, rocky areas, and sandy beaches.

Ornithological importance

In the island breeds at least 5 seabird species, highlighting the Cory's Shearwater (Calonectris diomedea), European Storm-petrel (Hydrobates pelagicus), Little Shearwater (Puffinus assimilis), and Madeiran Storm-petrel (Oceanodroma castro).
