Description

This area is located in the Fuerteventura Island of Spain.
In the area there are the following habitats: sea cliffs, saltpans, valleys with steep slopes, streams, rocky plains, farms, and mountains.

Ornithological importance

In this area there is record of the Fuerteventura Stonechat (Saxicola dacotiae), Fuerteventura endemic species, and Berthelot's Pipit (Anthus berthelotii), Macronesian endemic species. Highlight also for the occurrence of the Egyptian Vulture (Neophron percnopterus), Black-bellied Sandgrouse (Pterocles orientalis), Houbara Bustard (Chlamydotis undulata), Cream-coloured Courser (Cursorius cursor), and Plain Swift (Apus unicolor).
