This area is located in the south-east of Fuerteventura Island of Spain, and includes a mountainous coastal area.
In the area there are the following habitats: semi-arid mountains, valleys with steep or rugged slopes, sea cliffs, and scrubs

Ornithological importance

In this area there is record of the Fuerteventura Stonechat (Saxicola dacotiae), Fuerteventura endemic species, and Berthelot's Pipit (Anthus berthelotii), Macronesian endemic species. Highlight also for the occurrence of the Egyptian Vulture (Neophron percnopterus), Barbary Falcon (Falco pelegrinoides), and that is a breeding site for Cory's Shearwater (Calonectris diomedea).
