Description

This area is located in the east of Fuerteventura Island of Spain.
In the area there are the following habitats: valleys with steep slopes, brackish watercourse, and scrubs.

Ornithological importance

In this area there is record of the Fuerteventura Stonechat (Saxicola dacotiae), Fuerteventura endemic species, and Berthelot's Pipit (Anthus berthelotii), Macronesian endemic species. Highlight also for the occurrence of the Houbara Bustard (Chlamydotis undulata), and Cream-coloured Courser (Cursorius cursor).
